Ayelet Zurer

Ayelet Zurer is one of Israel's most beloved actresses, is an extremely special person. Her birthplace is in Tel Aviv, and first was noticed by Hollywood when she was chosen by Steven Spielberg in her first English-speaking role as Eric Bana's character's wife the Oscar(r) nominated film Munich (2005). After arriving in the United States, Zurer has appeared in Studio films such as Sony Pictures' Vantage Point featuring Dennis Quaid and William Hurt as well as Samuel Goldwyn's Fugitive Pieces opposite Stephen Dillane, Paul Schrader's Adam Resurrected in the role of Jeff Goldblum and Willem Dafoe. Recently, she was honored with the Gold Nymph Award as Outstanding actress in an Drama Series at the 54th Festival of Television of Monte-Carlo. It was awarded for her role in "Hostages". Ayelet received an Israeli Film And Television Academy Award in recognition of her performance as Nina in the Tragedies. Ayelet also received nominations for her performance in the films Only Dogs Run Free and The Dybuk, from Holy Apple Field, Desperado and Rutenberg. Zurer received the Haifa International Film Festival critic's award and was a guest in Haifa's "film Boulevard" for her achievements in regional and international film. Zurer was awarded the Israeli Television Academy Award, due to her performance in "In Treatment" the critically loved series of TV that was made into a format for American TV by HBO. She was also nominated as appropriateness in 2014's best drama "Shtisel", and won best actress in drama for her performance as a brilliant surgeon who is facing an existential dilemma in Hostages. The series was licensed to BBC4 and Canal Plus and the American ABC. Golbary Israel's top women's clothing company, is her "face". Ayelet is a producer as well as a author, and an illustrator of two adult titles, "Shorts" and the top-selling "Badolina" by Gabi Nitazn. Ayelet is working on a few projects in Israel and the United States. She expressed her interest in collaborations with international directors from around the world since she believes in joining with unknown directors and writers.
