Tara Strong
Tara Strong started her acting career in
Toronto, Canada at age 13. She had roles on TV as well as in film and musical
theatre. Her first leading role was in the main character in "Hello
Kitty", an animated series. After a brief time at Toronto's Second City
theatre company, she relocated to Los Angeles. Her extensive portfolio included
her own sitcom as well as more than 20 animated television series. She quickly
became a voice actor on numerous TV as well as Film projects such as
"Party of Five," National Lampoon's Senior Trip," and
"Sabrina the Teenage Witch." She has an iconic voice-over career that
includes parts like Bubbles in "The Powerpuff Girls," Timmy Turner in
"The Fairly OddParents,"" Dil Pickles in "Rugrats,"
Raven in "Teen Titans," "Batgirl," "Family Guy,"
"Drawn Together,"" "Ben 10,"" Melody in "The
Little Mermaid 2,"" "Spirited Away,"" and many more.
The voice of Miss Collins on Nickelodeon's "Big Time Rush" and the
current voice of "Harley Quinn." She has been nominated for Emmys, an
Emmy-nominated, Shorty Award Winner, Twilight Sparkle in My Little Pony:
Friendship is Magic as well as she is currently playing "Unikitty".
She was also in "A Very Merry Toy Store" the Hallmark Christmas
movie. She has 350,000 Twitter followers (@tarastrong) and has utilized social
media to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars to help children who have
cancer as well as animal rescue organizations in addition to using her voice to
command attention for her anti-bullying platforms. She lives in Los Angeles. She
was married to Craig Strong, a former actor and real-estate agent. The couple
split in July, 2019, and they ended their marriage in January 2022. They had
two children together.
